framrúða (f.) - windshield
gír (f.) - gear
gírkassi (m.) - transmission
   handskiptur gírkassi - manual transmission
   sjálfskipting - automatic transmission
gírskipting (f.) - gearshift
hanskahólf (n.) - glove compartment
hemill (m.) - brake (bremsa)
hjólbarði (m.) - tire (dekk)
höggvari - bumper (dempari)
loftpúði (m.) - airbag
mótor-vél (f.) - engine
númeraplata (f.) - license plate
rúðuþurrka (f.) - windshield wiper
skriðstilli - cruise control
stýrishjól (n.) - steering wheel (stýri)
útblástursrör - exhaust pipe (púströr)
vatnskassi (m.) - radiator
vélarhlíf (n.) - hood (húdd)

I'm not sure of the gender of a few of these, so there are bound to be some mistakes.

What is the difference between 'hlutur' and 'hluti'? Should I have called the list 'Hlutir Bílsins' instead of 'Hlutar Bílsins?'
